As Quetta’s first dedicated tech center, this initiative seeks to position the city as a leader in technological innovation, attracting talent, investments, and partnerships that drive economic growth. 1st Pakistan-China Green and Low Carbon Summit 2025

Mountain View Technologies Park in Balochistan participated in the 1st Pakistan-China Green and Low Carbon Summit 2025, led by Engr. Dr. Shahid Mehmud. The summit, titled "Green Economy Leadership: Catalyzing Innovation for Sustainable Development" brought together global leaders, policymakers, scientists, entrepreneurs, and diplomats from OIC member countries. The event, held at OIC-COMSTECH Secretariat, NUST Islamabad, and Rawalpindi, reaffirmed Mountain View Technologies Park's commitment to green innovation and sustainable development.

Inaugration of Prime Minister's Youth Programme Balochistan Secretariat

Prime Minister’s Youth Programme inaugurates its Balochistan Secretariat at Mountain View Tech Park on 14th May 2025, marking a significant step towards empowering youth and fostering development in the region. The Balochistan Secretariat of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme will benefit local youth by serving as a dedicated hub to implement and coordinate various youth empowerment initiatives tailored to the province’s unique needs. It will facilitate access to skill development programs, employment opportunities, and entrepreneurship support, aligning with broader provincial and federal efforts to combat unemployment and promote economic self-reliance among youth in Balochistan.

CEO ICON PRO VISITED MOUNTAIN VIEW TECH PARK

Icon Pro started as a spin-off of the WZL of the RWTH Aachen University and is now a strongly growing scale-up with 25+ employees from more than eight countries. Having started with the general idea to bring machine learning solutions onto the shop floor based on our computer science and deep production expertise, we sharpened our focus after a short while on our current use-cases and products.

The Centre for Entrepreneurial Development (CED), IBA Karachi, has partnered with Mountain View Technology Park, Quetta, to extend entrepreneurial capacity in Balochistan and beyond.

Signed by Dr. Lalarukh Ejaz, Director, IBA-CED, and Mr. Raheel Javed, CEO of Mountain View Technology Park, the MoU paves the way for startups in Quetta to access incubation training, mentorship, and networks that transcend regional borders.

This collaboration reflects IBA-CED’s mission to nurture innovation across Pakistan and connect emerging entrepreneurs to wider opportunities for growth.

Mountain View Tech Park successfully hosted a two day Discussion on “Teaching Programming Skills” on August 6 and 7, 2025, with the participation of the National Computing Education Accreditation Council (HEC-NCEAC).
The event was inaugurated by Dr. Shafay Shamail, Chairman of NCEAC, who delivered a compelling keynote address on the future of computing education in Pakistan. He emphasized the importance of fostering alignment between academia, industry, and government to effectively prepare students for the evolving demands of the tech sector.
The roundtable brought together a distinguished group of professionals and decision makers from all three sectors, initiating a much-needed dialogue around improving programming education across the country.
The initiative reflects Mountain View Tech Park’s ongoing commitment to advancing high impact, future ready education and innovation in the region. Eminent speakers Included:

The event “Entrepreneurship & Innovation: Driving Socioeconomic Growth in Pakistan” was held at Mountain View Technology Park, showcasing the shared vision of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP) and Mountain View Technology Park in empowering Pakistan’s youth through innovation and entrepreneurship. 

Graced by Mr. Rana Mashood Ahmed Khan, Chairperson PMYP, as the Chief Guest, the event brought together freelancers, startup founders, and mentors for insightful discussions. The event also marked the inauguration of the Secretariat of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme at Mountain View Technology Park, a significant step toward strengthening youth engagement in Balochistan. Mr. Zahid Mandokhail, of Leaders’ Odyssey School and College, also graced the occasion. 

The event highlighted PMYP’s role in nurturing youth-led innovation and Mountain View Technology Park’s efforts to build a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem, driving inclusive and sustainable socioeconomic growth across Pakistan.

Mountain View Technology Park proudly welcomed freelancers, innovators, and startup founders to an energizing Open House showcasing Balochistan’s first modern tech ecosystem.

Participants explored our Co-Working Spaces, Private Offices, Podcast Studio, Meeting Rooms, and a range of other facilities designed to support creativity, productivity, and business growth.
The event created space for meaningful conversations, fresh ideas, and new collaboration opportunities as we continue building a vibrant innovation hub for Balochistan’s digital workforce.
